Evaluation of VLEs for Binaries of Five Compounds Involved in the Production Processes of Cyclohexanone

In an attempt to evaluate the separation of certain impurities that arise in some stages production cyclohexanone, this work analyzed possibility removing five these substances via rectification. Due scarcity experimental vapor–liquid equilibrium data for most solutions effluent global process, prior knowledge their behavior is required. work, two predictive models, UNIFAC and COSMO-RS, were used determine a priori obtaining, by distillation, individual components seven binaries formed combination compounds.
